Shopping in Europe

After spending four months abroad, my $500 overweight checked bag is a testament to the damage done on exchange. A true miracle RyanAir never caught my very obviously oversized backpack. But today I bring you my top 3 destinations in Europe for shopping.
No.1 - Madrid, Spain
Referred to as Spanish Girly Shopping on TikTok, Madrid was an delightful unexpected never ending gold mine for the cutest summer pieces you knew you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else. Every store I walked into - familiar or not - I never failed to find something I had to purchase. From shoes to clothes, men to women (yes I bought stuff for my family too) there was truly something for everyone. By far a must visit spot for any shopaholic.
No.2 - Paris, France
It goes without saying, but shopping in Paris is a must when you're in Europe. The city offers a mix of luxury brands, boutiques and your standard stores (i.e., Zara). The Marais district in the 4th arrondissement is my personal favourite with the most European feeling streets and something for everyone. There are even some great restaurants and cafes when you need to a quick break. I've never left Paris empty handed.
No.3 - Copenhagen, Denmark
For the true Scandi Girl aesthetic Copenhagen is the place to be. I'm not lying when I say I've never seen one bad outfit. Copenhagen offers a unique assortment of apparel and home decor. I'm manifesting a kitchen full of dishware, tableware and glassware all from Copenhagen. As for apparel they never disappoint with the addition of an incredible selection of vintage and second-hand items. My favourite pieces in my closet are from Copenhagen and I always get questions and complements when I wear them out.
Happy Shopping :)
